New Admissions to Day and Boarding Schools

11. March 2020

This month has been amazing and fulfilling with the admission of 32 new students to our high school bursary program as they joined to form one. It is very encouraging when this is possible as it ensures our children keep up with the journey right from primary school.

It is a tremendous achievement to now have 116 students being supported in the bursary program and even more in boarding schools. Boarding schools are considered more prestigious and offer a better quality of education.

Our sincere gratitude goes to the Better Me Kenya Project for the wonderful support in ensuring we can provide quality education to the orphans and vulnerable children. Focusing their energy on ensuring a continuation of the learning journey, we applaud them for being loyal partners and always having the best interest of the organization at heart.

The high school bursary project also started a while back, started by Mama Dolfine and support from various stakeholders including the Ripple Effect Project is what has ensured consistency and growth.

Better Me also supports the summer camps which are aimed at mentorship and mindset growth for our students. Empowering a child day by day and drawing them closer to their dreams only becomes possible when we integrate these other aspects into their lives. We are grateful to our partner Better Me for making this possible and wish we continue to have even more impact in the lives of our children as we keep moving forward.
